Developed Corps of Engineers campground immediately east of Kopperl off of FM 56. Located on a (relatively) narrow section of the lake south of the confluence of the Brazos and Nolan rivers. Boat ramp, restrooms, water, and a long camping loop along the titular Plowman's Creek. Nice, shaded campsites very close to the water makes this an excellent park for shore fishing, particularly at night. Water levels can seriously fluctuate along this part of the river/lake, particularly in the heat of summer and during spring rains.

Grass was a little long but park is right on the Brazos river and easy access from the boat ramp.

Great camping for family

Good accommodations, got showers, right on the river, clean and we'll maintained.

After being flooded and closed for 2 yrs, it was beautiful.

I can't wait till they are able to open the far end to visitors. There's still so much watershed to clean up.

We visited for 4 days, May 19, 2017.
